Birgit Zores (geb. Seitz)

Birgit Zores was born in 1963 in Hamburg. She graduated as Mathematician at the Georg-August University of Göttingen in Germany in 1989.

She studied Economics and Computer Science as well. Since 1990 she worked as a scientist at DLR at the Institute of Fluid Mechanics where she worked on computer graphics and visualization of CFD data, e.g. on DLR's visualization software HIGHEND.

She was a member of the Group for Software Technology of the department High Speed Aerodynamics .

Further she worked on various European projects and is DLR's responsible for the current projects :

• GARTEUR Action Group 16 "EUROVIS"
• RACE project "PAGEIN

She was also head of Göttingen's Rock 'n' Roll Dance Club "Hurricane Dancers" .
